Murrin Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. While in law school, she served as a Senior Certified Student Attorney in the Milton R. Abrahams Legal Clinic, representing low-income clients in a variety of family law matters. She was also worked as a law clerk with the University of Nebraska Omaha Student Legal Services, assisting students with a variety of legal issues.

Murrin joined Chandra Law Offices as a full-time attorney in July 2025. Murrin is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association.
